Okay, now I've gotten that out of my system! One thing I have noticed in the Spring and Summer '08 fashion lines: color, color, color! Primaries, florals, tropicals...it's all about cheery colors and fabulous textures. I especially love the mixing of solid bright colors with bold ethnic patterns. I'm a BoHo girl at heart; I love the Asian-inspired looks and fabrics, especially with laces and bows. Sigh! Makes me long to ditch the long sleeves and jackets!

Spring Fever!
Honestly, there can't be anything more dreary than a cloudy February day. Maybe we'll get snow showers; maybe the sky will clear for a second and we'll have bone-chilling winds. How I long for a warm, sunny, breezy day....the kind that taunts you with visions of leisurly picnics and invigorating nature walks. How I eagerly await the arrival of the bluebirds...the daffodils...the fresh strawberries...

I'd love to have some of the things in your spring catalog, like the Georgette print blouse (#82407). I ordered it two weeks ago, when it had an estimated ship date of 2/27. I was looking forward to receiving it, but now the estimated date is 3/28! All of your backordered items seem to say 3/28 now. Is this a meaningful date or not? I'm going to have to return the dress I bought at the same time and planned to wear the blouse over; it will be outside of the 30-day return window before March 28th. I'm really disappointed because I was buying the outfit for a special occasion.

I just spoke with the Buying Department - Good News! The items have arrived in our warehouse this morning; seems that since the shipments weren't logged into our inventory on the date specified, the computers just kicked the estimated date up 30 days. We will fill our backorders today and tomorrow, and you should receive your order within 5-7 business days. Thanks for your comment; we always appreciate knowing what's important to our customers.
Hi, Ulla blogger... I called your customer service today because I hadn't yet received a shipment notice on the Georgette print blouse (82407). The customer service person said, "No, we haven't sent it, we don't have it in stock." I said that you'd told me they had arrived at the warehouse February 29th, and she said, "No, we're expecting them on March 17th." Do you know what's really going on with them? Thanks for your help.

Due to shipping difficulties, the Georgette Print Blouse will not come into our warehouse until 3/17. We will then send the backorders out as soon as possible.
