Please more color's for 52518.I love that tee it is my favorite.
52518 will be coming in plum and a yellow shade starting June 15th!
Please ship to Australia. You ship to so many other countries why not down under? Please consider as you have very little online competition here and Aussies are great online shoppers. Thanks.
Thank you, for more colors I can,t wait!!!!!!!!!!
I tried to find a "contact" form on the website but could not, so I'm posting this issue here. I cannot click an image for a larger photo. I always receive a message that I must have a newer version of Flash installed. Although I have the latest version, I download and reinstall again, but it doesn't help. I'm a web developer so I'm familiar with installing add-ons.
I've seen several items I've been interested in but passed because I couldn't view the larger image.
So far I've been happy with the quality of my purchases and would buy more if I could have a better view of the items.
Are you going to be getting more of item #91445? Patchwork tunic? I REALLY want a size 12/14. Thank you!
Ooh! I want to be able to sort by in-stock size. Sleeve length would be good--or even just be able to exclude some sleeve lengths? I *never* wear sleeveless, and because I live in the South, I *never* wear long sleeves, not even in December. But sorting by in-stock size (especially in Sale and Outlet where many sizes aren't available in most items) would be wonderful.
Please, please, for your career wear pantsuits how about offering longer inseams? I buy 28/30, and I've measured -- the 30" inseam virtually never is! Always much shorter. I bought a really nice navy blue pinstripe blazer and pants -- the pants inseam arrived at 28.5" -- it's an ankle-length suit.
You put tons of focus on lengths for TOPS -- pants matter even more!
I've seen you offer multiple lengths for jeans -- but -- jeans are the ONE thing I could buy from any plus-size catalog in multiple lengths. It's your career quality clothes I really love, but you need to offer at least a 32" inseam. Thanks. Ulla rocks.

Thanks for asking about our Patchwork Tunic, Item # 91445. You are not alone in loving this look, it was a best seller, so we will be ordering this again for Spring 2010!
Thanks for your question!
Please get the fitting right on the necklines and shoulders. Necklines are too wide and shoulder seams fall off shoulders. On camisole-type tops, the straps are way too far apart--most of us do not have man shoulders! I would buy more if the fit was better in these areas.

I am disappointed that there are no stretch poplin capri pants in white. Last year you carried them in multiple colors, and I want more more more of them!!! PLEASE!!!!! Is there any chance they will be available before summer.

Thank you for your blog comment! Unfortunately at this time we only have the eggshell available in the pant you inquired about.
We do have some other poplin choices, # 81801, however, this item is not in a capri. Also the seamed poplin pants are available in eggshell with all sizes available. Additionally we have another option # 92823 which is in a very cool fabric in an ankle length style.
I hope this helps! If you would like additional assistance please feel free to call into customer care at 1.800.245.8552.
Again, thanks for the comments!
I have three user-friendly suggestions.
1) I'd like it to be easier to revise an order. For example, if I change my mind about a color after it's in the cart, I have to click on the item, click on the size, click on the color, type in the number of items and put it in my basket. Then I have to remove the original item from the cart. Being able to just revise would be so much easier.
2) I'd also like "1" to be the default on the item page. Most people order one of each item, so why shouldn't one be the default instead of "0"?
3) It would also be nice to be able to order more colors (or sizes) of an item on the same item page rather than having to put each item individually in the cart.
Thanks for asking!
Are you ever going to get the career palazzo pants (item 61819)in stock in black in size 16-18? I have been checking for several months and it is always out of stock. I love the style and look but I have taken my size 20-22 up as much as I can. I really need the smaller size now.
Hi Jane,
Thank you for the comments! We truly appreciate all feedback from our customers and will take each point into consideration. We are currently looking into ways to improve our website, your suggestions came at the perfect time.
Thanks for being such a loyal customer!
Hi Anonymous:
Yes, we will be getting more of the Career Palazzo Pants (#64819) in stock! We expect to have them by June 15th. We would be happy to place a reserve on this shipment for you, please contact customer service at 800-245-8552.
I would really like to see more "real" plus-sized models. Those of us with many more curves shopping online would be able to tell much better if an item would work for us were it worn by a truly (18+) large-sized woman. Most of your models are swimming in the clothes and don't portray an accurate picture of what an item will really look like on a truly curvy body.
I am looking for a simple black knit dress. You used to carry a black one with long sleeves and a rhinestone 'zipper' look in the front that was perfect with blazers or vests or even with a denim jacket but it packed like a dream and washed even better. The ones I bought ( I bought quite a few) are beginning to show wear at the neck but I just love them as a staple.
Any new ones in the future?
Or even the ones you had. Straight, simple, plain.
Please let me know,
Thanks.
We have several black dresses in the latest fall 2009 preview catalog. We have two matte jersey dresses one long #94240 and one short #94237 and also a ponte knit classic black dress #94247. We also have an easy cotton knit surplice dress #94235 as well. Check out the new arrivals online and shop dresses. Good luck and let us know anytime you are looking for something you cannot find.
I would like to support the comment a few posts above, that asks you to use plus-size models in your advertising. You are the only Plus-Size clothing store I know of that doesn't do that. In addition to the fact that the clothes show more clearly on a larger model, there is also a psychological factor. For those of us who are stuck with struggling to maintain a positive self-image, it is NOT helpful when the clothes are shown on smaller women: to me it sends a not-so-subtle message that I'd look a lot better in your clothes if I just lost more weight.
I expect an outlet like Ulla Popken to be on my side! Any other women agree with me on this issue?
I would love more colorful choices in classic career clothes. I have enough black and grey and brown tones, and I would like to add items to my professional wardrobe with a little more personality. Maybe more burgundies/reds, blues that aren't navy, greens. It's very hard to find executive-quality plus size clothing! And I can't afford to have everything custom-tailored.
For some sundresses and maxi dresses that might be a little bare for the shoulders or cleavage- please offer lightweight tops to layer underneath ( in coordinated colors).
Also- offer lightweight short sleeved coverups-could have a delicately ruffled trim and simple, single button closure, ribbon closure... just helps pull together the outfit.
Also-please use more truly plus sized models. Oftentimes-the proportions of garments look frumpy. Not sure if that is the garment, or if it is the fit (or lack of fit) on the model. If it's not flattering on the model, I'm not inclined to buy.
I love UP clothing, it's beautiful, it's well-tailored, and you really seem to be almost fixated on the length of your tops -- but I really wish you'd offer longer pants! I'd buy lots more suits from UP if the pants weren't always so short. I've bought a few suits, and while I love the comfortable fit and the design, the pants are always too short, hitting well above the ankle. Please give it a try - offer just one basic, black pant suit (like the stretchy one you did last year, that came in either grey houndstooth or black, with a long or short blazer and "slim" or cuffed pants) -- offer something like that, but give us a longer pant option, and see if it sells.
Why don't you ever ask us how TALL we are? Wouldn't that help you know how to buy?

So, I think you've sold out of the super-short "pants" that are actually capris, that I mentioned, but you'll recognize them: they were pinstriped, came in either navy or grey, and there was a blazer, pants, and a skirt that were offered. The blazer was touted with having pocket flaps that could be tucked in or left out. One button. It's super-comfy, but looks ridiculous for anything that's a "serious" business meeting, because the "30 inch" inseam pants are really hitting mid-calf.
