It would be great if you could ship to Australia. I have bought a lot of my clothes from the UK, US and Europe, and it has never been a problem. I'd buy a lot from you if I could, as I am sure lots of plus sized ladies here in Australia would. In fact, I was just talking yesterday about your website and 2 of my friends have asked whether you ship here.

I wish you would consider a large woman's problems with covering up the upper arm. Cap sleeves, tight sleeves or no sleeves are unflattering. Also more V neck tops with material embracing the neck & back of neck, rather than scoop necks. Sheer? No no... Clingy, not really. Crisp Cotton poplin mixes for shirts, cotton polyester for T's...and elastic waist pants with slimmer legs. And pockets ! What has happened to them? I love most of what I buy from you, but truthfully I don't even consider 3\4 of what you offer because of the above concerns.

I'd love to buy from you but your designers are out of sync with potential customers like me. Here are some suggestions:

--Please improve your design (offer classic but not old-fashioned design) and your fabrics (always add a touch of spandex!).
--Consider offering 3/4 sleeves since some of us don't have long arms.
--No transparent materials, tent-like designs or fabrics that don't drape well.
--Please reconsider your proportions and design - more V necks shirts, less excess material, modern but not trendy looks (enough already of the beading and the dazzle unless it is tasteful and classy).
--Please offer petite lenghts in 1-2 classic pants.
--Check out Jones New York fashion for plus sizes and get some ideas plase!
Why not fly a few of your customers to your offices for a panel and to pick our brains?

I'm not sure why polyester has fallen out of favor so thoroughly for the fabrication of plus sized clothing-- in polyester woven with cotton, the fabric is cool, crisp, colorfast, never needs an iron, and lasts and lasts. 100% cotton just can't compare-- it twists out of shape, shrinks the first time it's dried, fades something awful, and the (expensive) garments end up looking like yesterday's leftovers within 5 wearings. Please oh please, can't we go back to some cotton-polyester blends in your tee shirts? I'd buy a lot more from UP if you made that kind of fabric available. Thanks so much for listening.

I love how many different ways there are to search for items that appeal to me -- by fit (MY FAVORITE), by size, by organic material or not, and by clothing type as well as others -- I haven't found a site more user friendly than yours. What I would love to see is actual garment measurements besides the lengths of tops. I'm an A-shape, but some regular-fit clothing fits me as well. I hesitated to order a particular dress I fell in love with because I couldn't tell from the picture how wide the dress was at the hips.

Even providing an average ratio of bust-waist-hip for regular fit would help a lot. As a pear, I'm 13 inches wider in my hips than in my waist, and 11 inches wider in my hips than my bust. This means I'm 2 - 3 sizes smaller at my bust and shoulders than I am at my hips. Makes shopping for shirts, blouses and dresses very challenging. While I appreciate the fit guide, I would really like to know what that means in hard measurements, on average. Ratio of bust to waist to hip for a regular fit; ratio of bust to waist to hip for A fit, etc. So I can gauge if a top or dress is likely to fit over my hips if I get the size that will fit my bust, and vice versa. Blazers and jackets are the hardest. More A-fit jackets and blazers, please! More A-fit everything :-) Thanks for providing such great, classy clothes for the plus size woman!

Dear Kathy,

Thank you very much for your comments! As you may have noticed our size and fit guide is a general measurement for our items.

You may also call into our Customer Service department M-F 8am-9pm EST at (800) 245-8552 and we would be happy to provide you with exact measurements of any garment in our catalog/online. This can often provide our customers with more confidence when ordering over the phone. We are happy to provide this service to any customer who asks!

Again, thanks for your comment!

Would love to see more flared and wideleg pants. Could you make your palazzo jeans in a regular length instead of the short length? Don't like high water pants. Also could you try to have lower prices? Most of your stuff is way too expensive and I can't afford. Thanks...

I love how stylish your clothes are - it's so nice not to be limited to frumpy tent-like clothing! Please consider adding more office-appropriate clothes, such as jackets and suits. Thanks!
